VERY VERY STRONG ACCENT - INDIAN - SPOKE TO QUICK TO UNDERSTAND - TOLD ME I WAS BEING REWARDED WITH 100 GIFT CARD TO USE IN WALMART OR ANY STORE BECAUSE I USE MY VISA FOR GROCERIES SO OFTEN. SAID THEY WORK WITH WALMART/PUBLIX ETC AND GIVE GIFT CARDS AFTER A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF POINTS EARNED ON VARIOUS SHOPPING TRIPS THRU THE YEAR. HE VERIFIED MY NAME AND MY ADDRESS... ASKED FOR MY VISA EXP DATE AND I SAID NO. HE STATED HE HAD THE NUMBER BUT NEEDED TO VERIFY IT WAS A VALID VISA CARD AND NOT EXPIRED... TOLD HIM LOOK BUDDY IF I WON SOMETHING SEND IT TO ME, IM NOT VERIFYING ANYTHING AND I AGREE TO NOTHING. HE KEPT SAYING THE CALL WAS RECORDED FOR MY PROTECTION. AFTER HANGING UP, I GOOGLED AND PROMPTLY CALLED MY BANK TO REVIEW THEIR FRAUD POLICIES - JUST IN CASE. I ALSO MOVED ALL MY FUNDS OUT OF MY ACCT TO BE SAFE BUT I GAVE THEM NO INFO AND REPEATED I AGREED TO NOTHING.

Said it was my final notice to lower my Credit Cards to a lower rate...I have had the same automated call from that number about a dozen times.

Says my son and myself have accounts at Chase bank and we don't. Someone named Mustafa called. I told them we can just go into the bank ourselves and get this cleared up. He started talking some more and I just hung up on him. Wants us to verify our birthdate and our Social Security number. No way...

I get calls a bajillion times a day, even as late as 11pm from these people. No answers!!! I have reported them.

SCAM********** SCAM **************** A heavy accented person calls n claims you owe money and tha if u don not pay today they will file a case against in court! They can not give u any information other than ur ss#, DOB n maybe address (SCARY uh?)they threaten n are very rude! ANY real Lawyers office, Police Dept, or anything dealing with the law will NOT contat you via phone as an initial contact unless directed by you to do so!

Caller stated she was a private investigator and that I needed to give this information to a lawyer and give a reference number. She said something about a restrianing order and left the number 813.863.1961

I picked up the call on my cell phone; was an automated message telling me there was a problem "with my CHASE debit/credit card", and that I would need to speak to the FRAUD unit...told me to press star to connect...I hung up....I don't even have a CHASE card!! How did they get my cell phone number???!!!!

Received a call at my place of employment - it is a municipality and the Supervisor's Secretary told her not to call. I have no idea who this is.

Stated I was being taken to court, and i shgould settle out of court. Ask they to send me details of what I own and to whom & the settlement amount. The letter came. Showing I owed $1236 but would settle for $430.The letter stated I owned to BMG. I am still waiting to an answer. I she sent all to the Fair Trade Commission
